SugarCRM Pricing
Standard pricing is as follows:

  • Sugar Community Edition is free and can be downloaded at sugarcrm.com/crm/download/sugar-suite.html.
  • Sugar Professional Edition is $360.00 per user per year, with a 5 user and one year agreement minimum, and includes online support. Phone support is available for an additional $120.00.
  • Sugar Corporate Edition is $540.00 per user per year, with a 5 user and one year minimum, and includes online support. Phone support is available for an additional $120.00.
  • Sugar Enterprise Edition is $720.00 per user per year, with a 5 user and one year agreement minimum, and includes phone support.
  • Sugar Ultimate Edition is $1200.00 per user per year, with a 5 user and one year agreement minimum, and includes 24x7 phone support. A professional services data migration is available for $5000.00.

Also, Sugar offers remotely delivered jumpstart packages to on-board new customers with advice related to setup and configuration for approximately $1500 to $3000. For a very modest investment, these programs clearly increase implementation success. Additional professional services, including bundled programs such as the company's Total Success Packages are also available and priced according to scope of work.

As online CRM matures and becomes increasingly competitive, every reputable vendor delivers solid functionality in terms of account/contact/activity/opportunity management, pipelines and forecasts, campaigns and cases. An increasingly crowded market is certain to invoke pricing pressures. Because of its open source foundation, the leverage of a global community and its indirect channels, Sugar may be more resilient to the inevitable pricing squeezes that its commercial competitors.

SugarCRM's open source development model, with the immeasurable value it receives from its community, permits it to deliver a competitive product at an attractive price point. Open source software products spread the costs, and the benefits, and are simply less costly that proprietary or commercial CRM, regardless of the deployment method.

Unlike Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Oracle CRM on Demand which also offer both on-demand and on-premises delivery options, SugarCRM is priced the same, regardless of deployment option. Also unlike popular SaaS competitors which come with a variety of add-on subscription fees for varying functions and charge additional for customer support, SugarCRM's subscription fees are inclusive of basic support, maintenance, as well as functions such as mobile CRM and integration toolkits.

And unlike most CRM competitors, software buyers have the option to first download the system and trial it in a production environment. There's no better way to reduce risk of choosing the wrong CRM system than using it before buying it.
